Hero's Restoration

Not too much to report since last time, so just a brief list.

The rear of the Land Rover was washed out on Sunday (17th), and all the remaining items stored in there, were removed so things are tidy before the MOT.

The drivers door window lock was fixed last night with the help of a flat bladed screw driver and a power drill. The last owners had replaced the channel that the window slides in, but not made a hole for the lock mechanism to come through to stop the glass from moving.

Tonight I intend to put a new pedal rubber on the clutch assuming the weather is reasonable.

Soon, just waiting for one of my family to get some days of work so we can head down to the MOT station together. I'll probably wait while the MOT is done, then it's off to the LR garage to get any work done that was spotted by the MOT, plus the welding jobs that I know about already. Once I've dropped off the Landy I will need a lift back, so I need someone to do that for me, plus give me some compnay if I break down and have to wait for the AA. :)
